Paptic® materials are manufactured in Europe under strict and transparent European environmental legislation. In manufacturing we focus on further improving our environmental performance and resource efficiency with measures in material, energy, water and chemical efficiency – in line with European climate targets.
Manufacturing in Europe
All Paptic® materials are produced in Europe. Due to comprehensive European environmental legislation all sites operate under set environmental permit limits. Our manufacturing sites invest in continuous improvement. Large investments to increase the share of renewable energy have been made, and the work continues. Our sites are located around good water availability. Their operations do not inhibit any party’s access to water.
Paptic’s technological innovations are applied in material production, aiming to continuously improve resource efficiency. In practice this means the wise and efficient use of raw materials, energy, chemicals, and water. Circulations are closed wherever possible, according to circular economy principles.
All our manufacturing sites are located in Europe. Paptic production sites are certified with a variety of management systems, such as ISO 9001 quality management system and ISO 14001 environmental management systems. In addition, depending on the site, they are supported by occupational health and safety management systems, such as ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 energy management system.
